Last night’s ESPYS were full of emotional moments. The top—in our mind—being Stuart Scott’s speech as he accepted the Jimmy V Perseverance Award for his extended battle with cancer.
But also emotional was the speech by Michael Sam, the draft pick of the St. Louis Rams, who received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. Sam is the first openly gay male athlete to be drafted into a major professional sports organiation in the United States.
