When the Atlanta Hawks beat the Miami Heat last night, the New York Knicks chances for the postseason came to an end.
So, why in the world would the Knicks send out this tweet this afternoon:
As long-time, die hard Knick fans, we don’t care who’s going to be the high scorer today. We don’t care about your remaining games this season. We don’t care much about the make-up of this embarrassing team.
Memo to the New York Knicks: Just go away.
But someone did care about the Knicks and their horrific season. And they took the time to capture the highlights/lowlights of perhaps the most talented bad team ever assembled.
We present to you “One Shining Moment,” New York Knicks-style. And, unlike the end of the NCAA tournament, this is nothing to celebrate:
- Knicks’ guard J.R. Smith called out as fraudulent “spoiled, suburban jumpshooter”
- Bonehead play of the day courtesy of Knicks’ forward Andrea Bargnani
- Bad News Knicks: After Knicks lose heartbreaker, Raymond Felton arrested
