By day, Rob Maiden is an accountant for the Dallas Cowboys. And by night he’s “Big Rob” the captain of the Dallas ManiAACS, the rather rotund male dancers who entertain the crowd at Dallas Mavericks games.
Those connections will get you tickets to the Final Four when it’s in your home town, and Big Rob took his son 15-year-old son, Trey, to Monday’s championship game. And when, during the timeout, the PA system started to blast Pharrell’s “Happy,” Big Rob and Trey put on a show:
- Which Mercer dance was best? The Nae Nae or the Chappelle-show inspired robot?
- Magic Johnson dances through his impressive trophy room to Pharrell’s “Happy”
- Detroit Lions tight end Joseph Fauria adds to his impressive dance reel
- This end zone dance by Detroit’s Joseph Fauria earned his charity $10,000
