With a 26-41 record going into tonight’s game against the Miami Heat, the Cleveland Cavaliers are a ship that has long ago sunk.
But the 3-D show that the Cavs project on their playing floor during the pre-game introductions: that’s almost worth the price of admission:
The work is done by Quince Imaging, a Washington, DC based company that offers image projection and 3D technology. The company uses 16 HD projectors, and also used the technology to project a video on the Cavs home court during the Zydrunas Ilgauskas retirement ceremony on March 8.
And it kinda makes you wonder if the team can project some real players in the next video.
