Shanel Harrison, a Washington, D.C. native who starred at LaSalle and Virginia Tech, was having a solid season for her Finnish basketball team, Tapiolan Honka. She was leading her league in scoring, rebounding; ranked fourth in steals and eighth in blocked shots.

Now her season is over.

Check out this video. Harrison is No. 33 in white, and in this video she runs into her opponent, Niina Laaksonen, and falls. It’s contact that you see often in basketball games.

This is not the way to do it.

Harrison, who had been twice received  Eurobasket.com Player of the week after a 29 point, 19 rebound performance last month, and a 47 point, 16 rebound game in December, had her contract terminated after the game.
