It’s almost to a point that certain accomplishments against certain teams shouldn’t count.
Case in point: Last night Russell Westbrook recorded a triple-double. In 21 minutes. Of course, that came against a team from the NBA’s C League (the Philadelphia 76ers).
Here is Westbrook’s triple-double, in its entirety, during the 125-92 win.
And here’s advice to Sixers’ rookie point guard Michael Carter-Williams, who talked trash all night to Westbrook despite getting burned all night:
Shut up next time.
And while Westbrook was slicing up the Sixers his partner in crime, Kevin Durant, was scoring 42 points.
