A big event in New Orleans had better bring the music, bring it big and bring it strong.
The NBA All-Star halftime show brought it Sunday night. Trombone Shorty. Doctor John. Gary Clark Jr. Janelle Monae. And, believe it or not, Earth Wind and Fire.
And that was just the halftime show. It almost outshone the game itself, which was the highest-scoring All-Star Game in NBA history.
The question is – was it the best halftime show in sports history?
Better than Beyonce two Super Bowls ago (also in New Orleans)?
Bruno Mars, two weeks ago?
Michael Jackson, back in the 1993?
Janet Jackson 10 years ago? (Had to mention that one.)
You be the judge.
