UPDATE (6:01 pm) – The NBA has suspended Tony Allen for one game.
There are ways of getting payback on the basketball court.
Memphis Grizziles guard Tony Allen was ejected for kicking Chris Paul in the face during last night’s game against the Clippers.
Allen was originally assessed a flagrant 1 foul. That was eventually ruled a flagrant 2 after the officials viewed the video, which meant Allen was immediately ejected.
Allen took to twitter to apologize:
Rest assured, Paul—knowing his feistiness— won’t forget the next time the two teams play.
And his “response” will likely be a bit more subtle.
