At last, proof of why Alex Rodriguez is the player and person he is. The truth lies in a classic movie trilogy, The Godfather.
According to the New York Post, A-Rod stars in an upcoming book, “House of Outrageous Fortune: Fifteen Central Park West, The World’s Most Powerful Address.” In it, the author tells of A-Rod’s own power and outrageousness.
A building worker claimed of the ever-troubled Yankees star, who lived in the building in 2010 “He got hookers all the time. Usually two at a time, two times a week.”
Seems like the application of a new meaning to the term “double-dipping.”
Hookers, two at a time?
Sounds familiar, like a weaker brother easily set up and taken advantage of: Fredo Corleone. Every once in a while, a guy like Moe Greene had to “straighten him out.”
And if A-Rod is Fredo, who is Michael?
You know, the guy who’s attracted A-list stars without paying for them his entire life. The alpha-dog on America’s premier franchise. The one whose team A-Rod plays on and not the other way around.
Derek/Michael is also the guy who has five rings, but only one in the 10 years since A-Rod showed up. And the guy who probably can’t count on A-Rod being around next year, if Major League Baseball’s suspension holds up on appeal.
