Here’s the scenario: The Toledo Mud Hens, playing their final home game of the season, had a 4-0 lead in the ninth when the visiting Columbus Clippers began to rally.
First the Clippers got a home run from Matt LaPorta. Jeremy Hermida doubled, and Chin-Hsiu Chen followed with a single to put runners on the corners with no outs.
