Confession: I’m not an interior designer. Have no clue how to coordinate colors and styles.
But I know what I like. And after seeing a friend who had the right combination of colors and furnishings in her home, I asked her to put a winning touch on mine.
I get compliments on my house all the time.
The best thing to be said about the house of former Baltimore Ravens star Ray Lewis, located just north of Baltimore and now on sale for a cool $1.1 million:
It sure looks nice on the outside.
At 4,283 square feet, it’s got great size.
With a large outdoor pool and an indoor sauna, it has great amenities.
But throughout the house there’s a contrast of styles that shift from the contemporary look of the foyer and kitchen, to the furnishings in the living room, dining room and bedroom that evoke memories of grandma’s house from way back in the day.
And whose idea was it to include red accents in one of the bathrooms?
Anyway, it’s got four bedrooms, four bathrooms and is situated on two acres of land.
In fairness to Lewis, his Florida beachfront mansion went on sale earlier this year and the styling was great. So maybe it was a matter of acquiring the right taste.
Be your own judge of the Maryland house that was just listed:.
