I woke up today to the anchors on the morning sports show marveling about the fact that Michael Jordan dunked.
I half expect to see Lester Holt discussing the dunk tonight on the NBC evening news.
My reaction: big frigging deal.
Why should we be surprised that a man considered one of the greatest basketball players and leapers in the history of professional basketball can still jump up and dunk a ball (and in this day of cell phone video cameras, where’s the proof that the ball really went down?)
Hell, I’m more surprised that I saw MJ get his shot blocked by NBA journeyman Chris Cromwell when he was 40, than seeing his Airness dunk at 50.
